July 4th Neighborhood Celebration
Bike Parade – 11:00 AM
We'll follow the same route as last year, and the Orange Township fire truck will be joining us again!
This year, we're encouraging everyone to decorate bikes, wagons, scooters, strollers, and themselves with a nod to America's 250th birthday. Go classic red, white, and blue, stars-and-stripes, or whatever says “community celebration” to you. The annual patriotic costume contest will also be judged at the end of the bike parade. The more creative, the better!
After the parade, we'll gather at the cul-de-sac for:
- Hot dogs
- A neighborhood potluck (one of my favorite traditions—neighbors feeding neighbors!)
- A water slide for the kids (and any brave adults)
- Tables and tent for shade
- Plenty of time to catch up with friends and meet new neighbors
